Hi 👋 There! I’m Rating an Album today (Or Night. It’s 3am for Me.) by an Artist named Minnie Riperton. I suggest everyone listen to her music, as it’s so good! Please know this is all based on my Personal Preferences and Such. Don’t take my Word as Gospel.
Anyways, here are my reviews and Ratings:
LES FLEURS
I’d say this was a 8.5/10. While I think it’s beautiful—it was not as Moving to me as the other songs on the album. I Still think it deserves a good rating though.
COMPLETENESS
8.7/10. A little higher than Les Fleurs.
COME TO MY GARDEN
One of my Favorites on the album and definitely in my top 3. 10/10 My Only complaint is that it ends. It’s so calm and peaceful! If I Were to Suggest a song for first-time Listeners of Ms. Riperton; I’d tell everyone to listen to this Song!
MEMORY BAND
9.5/10. This was another good one. Not my biggest favorite but Really Good.
RAINY DAY IN CENTERVILLE
7.8/10. I was not Crazy about this Song but I Gave it a Good Rating since the trumpets are bodaciously wonderful.
CLOSE YOUR EYES AND REMEMBER
10/10 I Was not a Big Fan of this song at first. Once I started to listen to it more, I Started to Fall in love with it. Another song I would say is apart of my top 3 songs from this album. #AWESOME!
EXPECTING
Solid 9/10. Beautiful, I think the best way to describe this song is a flower blooming.
OH, BY THE WAY
9.8/10 I Think this is the second Song I Immediately Heard and Fell in love with I Really Really Love it! This is another song I’d Suggest a First-Time listener to hear! I Think tomorrow I will listen to it, I Adore it so much.
WHENEVER WHEREVER
10/10. For me this is the Best Song on the Album, it feels so refreshing and uplifting honestly I have it on repeat currently. The drums, the backup vocals, Everything About it is so Fabulous! It was the very first song I listened to on this album and I’m glad I started out with this one cause wow! Simply Gorgeous!
That’s It. I Think the Album as a whole is a Solid 9.3/10. I’m sort of noise sensitive, but the way Minnie uses her voice pitches is so unique—I Don’t know anyone else who does the same—It Doesn’t Hurt me to listen, her voice at times sounds so Ghostly and Ethereal. I Really love this Album; and if you’re interested, give her a listen. I hope to give more reviews soon.
